this is day two of my second round of coolsculpting on my torso last week i started my second round of coolsculpting and i did the i did the front part of my stomach on either side of my belly button so today i'm going to do the back side of my love handles or i'm going to attempt to do the back side of my love handles because i'm by myself today so i'm going to really try hard to get it latched on i'm joan johnson and this is beauty over 50 on a budget where i do body sculpting body contouring and sprinkle in a little bit of anti-aging and skin care if this is something that has sparked your interest please consider subscribing to my channel i post new videos every week but before i start my treatment i want to talk a little bit about the side effects of coolsculpting i feel like i really don't touch on the side effects when you put this head on your body and whatever area is being sucked up into this handle it's painful it hurts and it hurts until the area goes numb from being cold and then you're okay then then it doesn't hurt anymore until your coolsculpting session is over and then when the area starts to wake up it becomes painful again and you start to massage that area because it's really important that you massage it for five minutes after your coolsculpting session that hurts that to me almost hurts worse than when you first start your coolsculpting session so just know that it's painful this handle is hard plastic so when when i get sucked up in here i usually have a bruise the shape of this handle on whatever area that i'm working on so just know that that bruising is expected and then the next thing is the tenderness i did the front part of my my tummy last week and i still am tender on the front part that's why i'm gonna do the back sides of my love handles today because i want to give the front part a break i don't want to do another part i don't want to do any more on the front part of my tummy until some of that tenderness goes away i do my coolsculpting treatments for 60 minutes and i set my machine at a minus 10 degrees and because the temperature is so cold it can cause frostbite so it's really important that you use anti-freeze membranes i use two anti-freeze membranes i say this in all of my videos i know that the machine when you get your machine the directions say to use one anti-freeze membrane and i have heard from so many people that have left me comments under my videos that have experienced frostbite because they've only used one anti-freeze membrane so i just have always used two and i've never experienced any frostbite about two to three days after i do a coolsculpting treatment the area starts to itch and that's completely normal that's just all the tissues starting to wake up after being frozen so don't worry that's completely normal you might experience random shooting pain for me it lasted about two to three weeks after a coolsculpting treatment but it just depended on the area that i was treating so for example my lower tummy i would experience random shooting pain just periodically for about two to three weeks but when i did my arms and i did my back coolsculpting i didn't experience any of that at all so i guess it just would depend on what area that you're treating and you might still be swollen in that area so coolsculpting takes time it takes weeks for the swelling to go away and for the tissues to wake back up my coolsculpting machine has a single handle but you can purchase coolsculpting machines that have dual dual handles and you can also purchase coolsculpting machines that have coolsculpting and ultrasonic cavitation and radio frequency skin tightening all in one machine and i will leave a link to all of those in the description box below okay i'm going to start my treatment this is the section that i did last week and it's still a little bit tender but it's not bad i don't have any bruising at all i'm really happy with the way my waist is starting to get sculpted in i'm really happy with this i'm really going to focus right here today to get rid of this so that's going to be my main focus today on either side right here i like to set my machine for 60 minutes it's what i like to do my treatments for and i set the temperature at a minus 10 degrees uh [Applause] this is pretty painful right here [Applause] so it's really hard i think i got that spot really good it's really hard hmm this is really painful i'm gonna massage it for five minutes i'm really happy that i was able to get this area in the back part of my love handle overall i'm really happy that i was able to get the head right in the spot that i wanted to do my coolsculpting i do think i'm going to be bruised i'll take pictures and i'll post them on my facebook page and i will update next week when i do my next session but i can already tell that um it's really sore and tender right now it doesn't really hurt right now because it's warmed up and while i'm do while i was doing the massage it was very painful but once the area warmed up it wasn't so hard and frozen it it started to feel better but it is still sore please just know that in my opinion coolsculpting is painful and you might have random shooting pain you might have itching swelling and bruising if you enjoyed this video please let me know like and subscribe and leave a comment down below
